Winter has arrived and dumped a cold mess of snow and ice/rain mix. Makes for terrible riding condditions right now of course. Most of you are hunkered down in the house as I am....which leaves our lessons on hold.
Please check back as I'll post updates on my blog as well as email notices when we can start resuming and scheduling everyone again.
Thanks for your patience....and stay warm!

What a lovely December!
Okay, so I know I just returned from warm Florida, but man....December in the Tri-Cities has been really wonderful so far!
The days are certainly cool, but it's been so beautiful out otherwise! The sun is bright, the air is crisp, and it makes me just LOVE this time of year all the more. Definitely gets me into the Christmas spirit.
I know many of you are busy preparing for your holiday plans (same here). For those who would like to continue riding lessons, I'm here! I know it's cold, but bundle up good and we'll keep practicing. =) I'm so pleased to report that we finally have the darkness tackled! Arena/barn lights went up a few weeks ago and it now makes afternoon riding possible. It's insane to think we're dark by 4:30, but that's the nature of things. Makes me look forward to those long summer nights.
Take care everyone! I hope to see you soon, but if not, enjoy the wonderful holiday season with your family. Merry Christmas everyone!

A Wonderful Summer
I'm sure none of you will argue, but here in Tri-Cities, it's been a very nice, very mild summer so far this year. I heard a news report just recently that we haven't even hit triple digits once! Holy cow, it's a miracle.
July kept me busy prepping for the Northwest Fjord Horse Show, in Ethel. I took Tonnka along with one of my students, Kaitlyn, and together we had SO MUCH fun!!! Managed to kick some serious bootie in our classes too! =D If anyone would like to view the pictures from the show, please contact me directly and I'll share the link with you.
Out-of-town travels are pretty much done for the year, just a few more local shows to hit up before the season ends. If anyone is interested in attending (to participate or to watch), be in touch and we'll discuss details. Most of our local events are low-key...and a little more fun without the stress.
In the mean time...thank you to everyone who continues to brave the warmer days and put up with all the dryness. So far, it's been such a lovely summer!

Where's Spring?
Okay, so I'm not the only one asking this question - "WHERE IS SPRING?!!" Despite a full month into the season, we're sticking closer to winter than anything, with continuing freezing temperatures, blowing wind, and needing to still bundle up to go outside. INSANE!!
I am gearing up for a few horse events that I wanted to mention, for scheduling sake. I will be gone/out of town these dates:
- May 14th (PNFPG Meeting)
- July 21-24th (NW Fjord show)
Tentatively....June 4th (Summerfest show)
If you typically have lessons scheduled on the weekends, I'll try to remember to give enough notice to either move or reschedule another date.
Until then....I'm praying for warmer weather!!
